Ramsey, Beulah M. - July 16, 1909 - May 3, 1994 -The Coshocton Tribune - Beulah M. Clark Ramsey, 84, of County Road 23, died Tuesday, May 3, 1994, at Heartland of Fairfield Nursing Home, Pleasantville, after an extended illness. Born July 16, 1909 in Coshocton County, she was the daughter of the late Elzie and Grace (Gonder) Baker. She was a member of the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Church Ladies Aid Society. On March 18, 1937, she married Burville Clark, who preceded her in death Jan. 18, 1946. On Oct. 4, 1971, she married Henry Ramsey, who preceded her in death March 26, 1991. Surviving are a son, James B. Clark of Frazeysburg; a daughter, Mrs. David (Elizabeth) Allman of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Cheryl Allman of Coshocton, Chris Wilson of Warsaw and Michael Clark of Frazeysburg; three great-grandchildren, Tia and Jarrett Allman, both of Coshocton, and Kyle Clark of Frazeysburg; two sisters, Pauline Baker of Cleveland, and Oneta Phelps of Heath; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, a brother and three sisters. Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the Free Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald L. Trigg officiating. Rapp, Adelaide (Addie) M. - From the Times Recorder, Zanesville Ohio 22 October 1976 - Smith New Lexington- Mrs. Addie Smith 83 of 412 North High street, New Lexington died at her residence at 3 pm Wednesday following an apparent heart attack. She was born August 19 1893 in Zanesville she was a member of St. Rose Catholic church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Albert Wharton of Cambridge, three sons Joseph Studer of Edison, Benedict Studer of New Lexington, and Virgil Smith of New Lexington, eight grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren, two step daughters Mrs. Mary Ferguson of Crooksville Route 2 and Mrs. Dessie Ferguson of Crooksville Route 2, one step-son Frank Smith of Crooksville and several step Grandchildren, two brothers, Roman Rapp of New Lexington and John Rapp of Jacksonville Ohio, two sisters Mrs. Florence Harrison of New Lexington and Mrs. Mary Hopkins of Plainwell Mich. Requiem mass will be held at St. Rose Catholic church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with burial in New Lexington Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chute- Wiley Funeral home in New Lexington any time. Rapp, Benjamin G - The Times Recorder, Zanesville Ohio 14 April 1951 (Saturday) - Benjamin Rapp Called By Death Benjamin G. Rapp of 40 south Seventh Street, a retired employee for the Baker Bread Company, died at 2:30 O'clock Friday afternoon in a Columbus hospital following an illness of three years from a heart condition. He was admitted to the hospital three weeks ago. Mr. Rapp for a number of years operated a bakery on Eight street and later was associated with the Bake Bread Company for over 24 years before retiring due to ill health. He was the son of Roman and Mary Rapp. Surviving is his widow, Edna G. Rapp of the home Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Dean Funeral home with Rev. L. A. Schrieber, pastor of the Central Trinity Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery. Rapp, Bernard L. - From the Zanesville Times Recorder 12 March 1973 (Monday) Bernard L. Rapp, 73, of 706 South Street, a retired employee of the Ludowici-Celadon company, died at 9:55 pm. in Good Samaritan Medical center following a long illness. He was born March 4, 1902 in New Lexington, the son of Joseph and Cora McGee Rapp.Survivors include three brothers, John of Jacksonville, Roman of New Lexington, and Frank of Bucyrus, three sisters, Mrs. Addie Smith, Mrs. Florence Harrison and Mrs. Mary Hopkins all of New Lexington; two step-daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Braglin of New Lexington and Mrs. Genevieve Munyan of Rehoboth and several step-granddaughters. His wife, Lavina died in 1966. Friends may call after 6 pm. today at Chute-Wiley Funeral Home in New Lexington where services will be held at 1 pm. Tuesday conducted by Rev. Rapp, Cora McGee - From the Times Recorder, Zanesville, Ohio - 28 October 1927(Friday) - Mrs. Jos Rapp Dies Mrs. Joseph Rapp of West Water Street succumbed from this life at Good Samaritan hospital, Zanesville, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Death followed an operation performed for appendicitis. The deceased is survived by a husband, six sons, Roy of Zanesville, Joseph of Pascal, Texas, Roman, Bernard of the home, John of Lancaster and Ed W. Rapp, Edna Gertrude Milligan - From the Zanesville Signal 16 August 1952 (Saturday)-Funeral Monday for Mrs. Rapp Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Gertrude Rapp, 75, of 40 south Seventh Street, will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Dean funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Mrs. Rapp died yesterday at her home following a stroke; she had been ill three weeks. The widow of Benjamin Rapp, She was born in New Lexington. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Milligan and had lived in Zanesville for more than fifty years. Surviving is a cousin, Mrs. Charles Eppley of Stovetown. Her husband died on April 6 1951. Saturday in the University Hospital in Columbus. He was born March 14 1896 to Joe and Cora McGee Rapp. Surviving are his widow, Nancy of the home, three sons, Frank of Bucyrus, Thomas and Robert, both of Beckly, W. Va. four brothers, Roy of Zanesville, Roman of Sandusky, John of Jacksonville, O, and Bernard of New Lexington, three sisters, Mrs. Addie Smith and Mrs. Florence Harrison, both of new Lexington, and Mrs. Mary Hopkins of Plainswell Mich. and three grandchildren The body was removed to the home of Mrs. Harrison, at 322 East Water Street in New Lexington where friends may call after 7 pm. today. Rapp, Joseph - From the Zanesville Signal, Zanesville Ohio 15 November 1933 (Wednesday) - Local Man Dies Death Tuesday morning called Joseph Rapp, 67, a well known local resident at his home on Fowler Street He had been sick for two weeks, contracting pneumonia shortly before he died. The body was removed to the C. L. Chute company funeral home and Wednesday morning was taken to the home of Mrs. Addie Studer, High street, a daughter. Last rites will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at St. Rose Catholic church, Burial will be in the city cemetery. Six sons and three daughters survive as follows; Roy, Zanesville. Edward, Benard, Mrs. Florence Euman, and Mrs. Studer, city. Roman and Joseph, Lancaster John Jacksonville, and Mrs. Lewis Bash of near here. Rapp, Lavina Pemberton - From The Times Recorder, Zanesville Ohio - 17 January 1966 (Monday) - New Lexington- Mrs. Lavina Rapp, 66, of 312 East Water street, died at 6:pm Sunday,(Jan. 16), in the Carl W. Hermey Ambulance while being taken to Good Samaritan hospital after suffering a heart attack. Mrs. Rapp had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Braglin in Corning when she was taken ill. En route to the hospital, she died in Crooksville and was taken to the office of Dr. H. E. Herendeen, acting Perry County Coroner where she was pronounced dead.She was born January 2, 1900 in Jackson County. Surviving are her husband Bernard of the home, another daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Munion of Rehoboth; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, a brother, Homer Pemberton of New Lexington and a sister Mrs. Mary Buchannan of Brilliant. Friends may call after 7pm. today at Chute-Belford-Wiley Funeral home, where services will be conducted at 1 pm. Wednesday Rev. L.J. Rapp, Mary Guinther - From the Coshocton Morning Tribune, Coshocton Ohio February 12 1913(Wednesday) - Injuries Sustained in Fall Prove Fatal - Mrs. Mary Rapp, aged 81, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Arza Moore on South Ninth Street Monday night. Her death was due to injuries which she sustained in a fall about six weeks ago. As a result of the fall, Mrs. Rapp sustained a broken hip and other injuries. Mrs. Rapp was a native of Coshocton County and spent her entire life in this vicinity except for a few years spent in Zanesville. She was a life-long member of the Catholic Church. Six children survive. They are, Mrs. Arza Moore of Coshocton, Mrs. Joseph Metzger and William and Benjamin Rapp of Zanesville, John and Joseph Rapp of New Lexington. Joseph, William and Thomas Guinther of Coshocton are brothers. Rapp, Mary - From the Coshocton Daily Times 11 February 1913 (Tuesday) - Fall Results in Death of Mrs. Mary Rapp Monday Night Aged Lady Succumbs to Injuries Received Several Weeks Ago-Body to Be Taken to Zanesville for Burial Mrs. Mary Rapp aged 81 years, died at 10:45 Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A Moore of South Ninth Street. Mrs. Rapp had been sick for the past seven weeks as the result of having her shoulder dislocated in a fall, and on account of her advanced years, it was impossible to set the dislocated shoulder. This together with her age was the cause of her death. Until two years ago, Mrs. Rapp had been a life long resident of Zanesville. Two years ago she came to this city and has been making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Moore. During Mrs. Rapp's whole life she has been a member of the Roman Catholic Church and a faithful Christian woman. Rapp, William - From the Zanesville Signal January 30 1944(Sunday) - William Rapp Dies in Texas William Rapp of Raymondsville, Tex, a former Zanesville resident, died Wednesday at his home, according to word received by friends in this city today. He had resided in Texas for the past 20 years. While in Zanesville Mr. Rapp was a traveling salesman and later was employed by the American Light Co. RECTOR, Mrs. Nicholas - Progressive Age Jan 26, 1859, Wednesday - We regret to learn the demise of Mrs. Nicholas RECTOR of Warsaw. We have long known Mrs. R. and can testify to her worth as a kind and affectionate wife and mother, true friend and good neighbor. We can scarcely realize that she is dead. Peace to her ashes. Robertson, James Jr. - The Coshocton Age Friday Oct 30, 1868 - We were pained to learn of the death of James Robertson, Jr. son of James Robertson, Esq on last Tuesday. For several years the deceased suffered the intense agony of Inflammatory Rheumatism, the cause of his death. He lived an exemplary Christian life on earth, and when called home by the master, he died happy, confident of a brilliant future in the ?House Eternal, not made with hands?.
