Daniels, Holly - August 26, 1875 : Coshocton Age- Holly Daniels - Fearful Accident. - Holly Daniels, a young man well remembered by natives of Dresden, was the subject of a fatal accident Saturday last ( Aug. 7 ) After putting up a stack of hay for Dr. Cone, on his farm, which is situated west of Wakatomika Cross Roads, he carelessly slid the pitch fork to the ground, where it leaned against the stack with the points up. Holly, not seeing the fork from his elevation, sprang down, impaling himself on its treacherous prongs, which, it is said, penetrated eighteen inches into his body.
