He married LOUISA FATE Abt. 1854 in Fishkill, Dutchess Co., New York. She was born 1833 in South River, New Jersey, and died April 04, 1907 in Coshocton, Coshocton Co. Ohio. Notes for ISAAC MCNARY: HISTORY OF COSHOCTON CO. OHIO MCNARY Isaac McNary was born July 24, 1832, in Fishkill, NEW YORK He married Louisa Fate of New Jersey. To this union were born eleven children; four died in infancy, and seven lived to adulthood. Isaac and Louisa moved to Coshocton, Ohio, in 1873. Isaac was nearly 98 years old when he died in 1930. Shortly after arriving in Coshocton, Isaac built the first artificial gas plant. and operated it for fifteen years. His son, John McNary, then took over the operation of the plant for twenty years. MCNARY PASSES AWAY After suffering for eight weeks with complications of heart and kidney troubles Mrs. Isaac McNary passed away Friday evening at ten minutes after six o'clock; all during the long weeks of her illness she had been cared for most devotedly but the serious nature of the complications was too much for her enfeebled constitution to combat and for some days her recovery has been despaired of. Her's was a most exemplary Christian character and her life an example of unselfish devotion to her husband and children and to all with whom she came in contact. Mrs. McNary was past 73 years of age and was born in South River, N.J., her maiden name being Louise Fate. Fifty-three years ago she was married to Isaac McNary the earlier years of their wedded life being spent in Fishkill on the Hudson. Thirty-three years ago the family came to Coshocton where they have resided ever since. Eleven children were born to the union of that number four died in infancy and one daughter, Mrs. Homer Jacobs passed away about two years ago; the surviving ones are Charles, John, Mrs Joe Swigert, Misses Emma and Eva McNary of this city and Mrs Juhr of Guadenhutten. The husband also survives. The funeral services will be held from the family home on Orange street Monday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Robertson, the pastor of Grace church of which Mrs. McNary was a consistent member for many years having charge of the service, and interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. _______________________________________________________________ Obituary; Newspaper Unknown FUNERAL OF MRS. MCNARY Funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Isaac McNary were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 from the family home on Orange street the large number of persons attending bearing eloquent testimony to the high esteem in which the dead woman and her family are held. Rev. Robertson of Grace church conducted the services and the male quartet from the same church sang. The remains were interred in the family lot in Oak Ridge the pall bearers being Henry King, Joseph Keagy, John Peacock, D.D. Boyd, Stephen Lear, and R.M. temple. Homer Jacobs of Millersburg and Miss Felton of Columbus are here to attend the funeral. ________________________________________________________________

Miss McNary was born in Ney York Stare. the daughter of Isaac and Louise Fate McNary. She was one of the original employees of J.F. Meek when he founded the Meek Calendar Co., continuing with the organization of Guy Meek until eight years ago, when she was taken severly ill. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Swigert and Mrs. Juhr Valentine, West Lafayette, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Grace M.E. Church. The body will be at the home of Mrs. Swigert and will be taken to the Grace M.E. church Saturday where the services will be held at 2:30. the Rev. Wesley E. Tilton officiating. McNary, aged 67, for thirty years proprietor of the McNary plumbing establishment, Main Street, died at his home, Elm and fifteenth Street, Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from organic heart trouble and Bright's disease. He had been ailing for the past year and bedfast for the past two weeks. He was born in Fishkill, New York, on July 10, 1855. He moved from his old home place at Fishkill, NEW YORK to this city 47 years ago. In 1881 at Fishkill, NEW YORK Mr. McNary was united in marriage to Miss Jennie Knapp. He was affiliated with Methodist Episcopal church since 10 years old. He was a member of Grace M. E. church ever since he first came to this city, and was a member of the church's official board. He was an active church worker. He is survived by his father, Isaac McNary, aged 91, Poplar Street; two sons, Sherman McNary, of Ashland and Clarence McNary, of this city, and one daughter, Mrs. Selby Buxton, of Shreve, Ohio. The following sisters and one brother survive: John McNary, of this city; Mrs. Valentine Juhr, of Uhrichville; Mrs. Joseph Swigert, and Eva and Emma McNary, all of this city. The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Grace M. E. church with the Rev. W. B. Winters in charge. Burial will be made in South Lawn cemetery. The pall-bearers are: T. MCNARY CHARLES A., Coshocton; general pump dealer, gas fitter and plumber, 133 Second Street; born July 10, 1855, in Fishkill, Dutchess Co. New York; son of Isaac McNary, a native of New York, of Scotch descent. Young McNary's first work was in farming; leaving this he became a machinist. In April, 1874 he came to this city and engaged in the gas business. In 1876 became successor to J. H. Carman and continued the business at the old stand two years, then removed to his present place where he has more ample room for his much increased business, which extends throughout this county and part of Tuscarawas County. McNary, operator of a plumbing business here for many years, died suddenly of a heart attack at 10 A.M. today at his home, 1039 Cambridge rd. He was 74. Born July 28, 1863, in Fishkill, NEW YORK, a son of Isaac and Louise Fate McNary, he moved to Coshocton at the age of 11. He spent the remainder of his life in this city. On December 30, 1885, he was united in marriage to Rose Lear, who survives. Mr. McNary learned the plumbing trade while a youth, and conducted his own business here during the following years. He was a member of Grace M. E. church and the Odd Fellows lodge. OHIO MCNARY John McNary was born in 1863, in Fishkill, NEW YORK John arrived in Coshocton, with his parents, Isaac McNary and Louisa (Fate) McNary in 1873. On December 30, 1885, John married Rose Anna Lear in Coshocton. Rose and John had two sons; Leroy, born in 1886, died in 1888, and Paul Lear McNary, born in 1893. Shortly after arriving in Coshocton John's father built the first artificial gas plant in Coshocton. In 1886 John took over operation of the plant for twenty years. In 1906 he ceased working at the gas plant and took over the operation of the first natural gas plant in West Lafayette (Coshocton Co.), which he operated for three years before going into the plumbing business. McNary and Lottie Schooley, two well known young people of this city, were quietly united in marriage by Rev. Dr. Clark, at Grace M. E. parsonage, Wednesday evening. The affair was kept a close secret and not even the close friends of the couple were aware of the impending wedding. Mr. McNary is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. McNary and Miss Schooley is the daughter of William Schooley who resides on Chestnut street. For the present Mr. and Mrs. McNary will make their home with the groom's parents on Mulberry street. The happy couple are receiving the well wishes of their many friends. _______________________________________________________________ Announcement; Newspaper Unknown Oct. 1948 MARRIED 45 YEARS AGO Observance of the 45th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. McNary took place on Sunday at their place on Troy Road. Their marriage took place on October 28 at Coshocton at the Methodist church with Rev. Clark officiating. The family dinner was held at their home at noon with a large decorated anniversary cake being featured. Fall flowers were arranged in house bouquets. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Lester McNary and daughter, Sondra, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fair and children, Velda, Dick, and Billy, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fulmer and son, of Ashland, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wolford and children of Shelby, Mrs. Ruth Boyer and Donald Boyer of Coshocton, and Mrs. Gladys Hagen of Coshocton. The McNary's have two children, Lester of Cleveland Avenue and Mrs. Lee Fair of Charlotte Avenue. A son died at the age of seven years. _______________________________________________________________

MCNARY: Obituary: Coshocton Ohio Newspaper April 8, 1911 ROSCOE LAD IS VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA Charles McNary, the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman McNary of Roscoe died at the family home last evening at 7:30 after a three week's illness of measles and pneumonia. The little lad would have reached his seventh birthday in July; he started school last autumn, but was forced to be absent for some time on account of whooping cough. He had scarcely gained his usual strength when he was taken with a severe attack of measles terminating in pneumonia and after a brave and well fought battle for the past three weeks the little sufferer lost in the struggle when death released him from pain last evening. In addition to the father and mother a brother Lester, aged 4 and a sister Grace, aged 1 year, survive. The child was the grand-son of C.A. McNary of this city. The funeral service will be from the family home in Roscoe (the former M.G. Mack home) at o'clock Monday afternoon, the Rev. Whitehurst in charge, Interment will take place in Southlawn cemetery, Coshocton. The pall-bearers will be chosen from the children of the Roscoe Schools. Mr. and Mrs. McNary left Monday noon for a wedding trip to Monongahela, Pa., and upon their return to this city they will make their home with Mrs. Brannon.

WARSAW -- William Warner Buxton, 79, of 416 Fourth Street-Nellie, died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. He was born April 22, 1923 in Shreve, Ohio to the late Selby and Edith Jane (McNary) Buxton. He was retired from Buckeye Fabric in Coshocton and also worked for Coshocton Memorial Monument Company and the former Howard Grain Elevator. Mr. Buxton was an Army WWII Veteran from 1943-45 in the European Campaign. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1943 and was a member of the Coshocton Elks, VFW 2040, Nellie Chapel United Methodist Church, a past member of 50 years of Nellie Village Council and honorary member of River View FFA. He is survived by his wife, Aldene Hope (Lyon) Buxton whom he married June 15, 1947. Also surviving are one daughter, Bee (Dan) Richard-Lehner of Coshocton; two sons, William W. Jr. (Debbie) Buxton of Nellie, David D. (Christine) Buxton of Columbus Grove, Ohio; grandchildren Angi (Greg) Buxton Davidson of Mt. Vernon, William S. Buxton of Columbus, Adam C. Richard Lee Fair, 35, Rd. 2, Jeromesville, died at University Hospital in Columbus Tuesday afternoon of injuries he received Tuesday shortly before noon in a fall from a Ohio Edison pole near Mohicanville. Division Manager W.M. LaSalle, said Fair was descending a pole and unhooked his belt to pass over a cross arm that holds the primary line. His spur cut out of the pole and he fell approximately 27 feet backwards to the ground. LaSalle said Fair was a member of the construction crew department of the Ohio Edison Co. and was working on the change-over of a transmission line between Loudonville and Ashland. The work was being done at the edge of Mohicanville. The accident is under investigation by Ned Gringle, Ohio Edison personnel coordinator, and members of the construction department. Fair was the son of K. Lee and Grace (McNary) Fair. He was born Aug. 2, 1933, in Ashland. Mr. Fair had been employed by the Ohio Edison Co. for the past 12 years. He was married in December 1957 to Viola Hines. Survivors include his widow; one son, Scott, at home, two Beth and Kelley Renee, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fair of Ashland; one brother, William of Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Charlene) Fulmer and Mrs. Rodger (Velda) Jordan, both of Ft. He married JUNE MARSHA BELL February 05, 1972 in Bay Minette, Baldwin Co. Alabama, daughter of ROBERT BELL and JANET MIROWSKY. She was born September 22, 1954 in Rahway, Essex Co., New Jersey. Notes for JAMES ROBERT FULMER: Born in Ashland Ohio 5/18/1953 and was christened Catholic. My Godparents are Theodore and Beverly Hawley. I moved to Springfield at a very young age where I lived in two places. I also started school there. In 1961 our family moved to Hollywood, Florida and I attended second grade in public school. I attended third grade in Catholic School and received my First Holy Communion that year. In fourth grade I went back to public school and also tried to learn to play the clarinet. The family moved to Sunrise Golf Village, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale where I lived until a few weeks after I graduated from Plantation High School. Sunrise Golf Village later became the City of Sunrise. Mom and Dad were in a car accident and Mom was thrown from the car. Mom almost didn't survive and was disabled for many years. On prom night I proposed marriage to June Marsha Bell. We had gone steady for three years in High School. After graduation June's family moved to Bay Minette and I moved there with them. June and I were married in February of 1972 in Saint Agatha's Catholic Church on Saint Agatha's Day. In attendance were my sister Patricia Ann Fulmer as Maid of honor and June's brother Edward Thomas Bell as best man. In the spring of 1972 we moved to Lauderhill, Fl. because jobs were hard to find in Bay Minette at that time. At that time I went to work for Florida Battery Co. in Ft. Lauderdale. I started bowling with my wife and father at this time. Our son Jason was Born on February 20, 1975 in Broward General Hospital. We lived in three places in the area. On February 14, 1981 my father passed away from a massive heart attack. In April of 1981 we moved back to Bay Minette. I went to work for Bob White Chevrolet as a Parts Manager. June went to college for a year to become a dental assistant and Jason started school. I also attended Faulkner Junior College and took a few business courses. I continued to bowl and became president of the Baldwin County Mens Bowling Assn. When Jason was in Elementary and middle school I served on the board of the Baldwin County Young American Bowling Congress. When Jason was in the high school band I was elected to Vice President and then President of the Baldwin County High School Band Boosters. In 1994 I went back to college to take computer courses.
